Located midway between Clearwater to the north and St. Pete Beach to the south, Redington Shores is just 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport and professional football, hockey, soccer and baseball.
Redington Shores covers 220 acres with 1.19 miles along famous Gulf Blvd and has a total of 6.33 road miles. Neighboring on the north is Indian Shores and North Redington Beach is to south. Both are accessible by Gulf Blvd.
Redington Shores is connected to the mainland by use of the Tom Stewart Causeway in Madeira Beach to the south and the Indian Shores Bridge to the north.
Redington Shores is located at 27°49′41″N 82°49′50″W / 27.82806°N 82.83056°W / 27.82806; -82.83056 (27.827965, -82.830509).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.1 km² (1.2 mi²). 1.0 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is land and 2.1 km² (0.8 mi²) of it (67.50%) is water.
